About Monica

Hey there, I’m Monica.

After years of photographing people, I’m getting back to what drew me to photography in the first place back in 2003, but with a lot more knowledge and better gear.

Back then I had won a cheap film camera at something called Project Graduation that I returned for a Sony point and shoot. Things just kept getting more serious after that with a few detours along the way.

Most of the time I’m doing mom things, but occasionally I get to go be a photographer and that’s what I’m sharing here on this website.

This is 10. If you want to know what was going on in 2016 (whatever that trend is), it was a lot of watching him sleep and grow and watching Frozen with sister approximately 900 times.
Found a random bathtub in the middle of the ranch. Kinda loved it. Always a fan when nature meets man made in unexpected ways. #texasthroughherlens
